Setup: product details, parts and IMVU compatibility

Setup shows the picked product's details, the named parts its model is made of, and whether IMVU will accept it.

Details

Details shows the product's name, fit, category and subcategory, and keywords. The Creator Brand it belongs to is under Listing.

BrainGPT names and describes your products for you. Whenever the model or textures change, it fills in the name, description, keywords and category. You can give it a hint or run it again from Setup.

Parts

Parts lists the pieces the product's model is made of, each with a name, sorted into folders: a hoodie has a hood folder with its panels and cuffs, a sleeve folder with its rips, and so on. These names are how you and BrainGPT know you mean the same thing. When you ask BrainGPT to change "the hood", it works on the parts in the hood folder.

Select parts: while Parts is open, click the model to pick parts. In the list, click a part's number to select it (Shift-click for a range), or the pointer button on a folder to select everything in it. This is the same selection BrainGPT sees, so you can select parts and then just say what to do with them.
Find parts: Filter parts finds parts by name, and the eye button shows where a part sits on the texture layout.
Organize them: type over a part's name to rename it. Make, rename and move folders from the ⋮ menu, by right-clicking, or by dragging.

BrainGPT names and organizes the parts for you once your model is ready. To have it do that again, use Name all parts on the bar at the top, or Rename with BrainGPT on the parts you've selected. This uses some energy. Parts of a live product, or one under review, can't be renamed. See Selecting parts and areas for the other ways to tell BrainGPT where to work.

Compatibility

Compatibility tells you whether IMVU will let you upload the product. Its IMVU card estimates the product's weight (the size IMVU counts) against IMVU's limit for that kind of product, and rates it Excellent, Good, Close to limit or Over limit.

Anything under the limit can be uploaded to IMVU; Over limit means IMVU won't take it as it is. The number is an estimate, so the weight IMVU Studio shows may be a little different. If a product is close to or over the limit, see When an export doesn't work for ways to make it lighter.
