Using products that aren't yours

Preview any product, then press Use this to get your own copy to work on.

Preview first

Your projects only hold your own products. To look at a product that isn't yours, for example from the Emporium, open its Preview: it shows the product worn on the avatar, and the whole collection when it belongs to one.

Use this

To work on it, press Use this. It copies the product (or the whole collection) to your account and either starts a new project with the copy or adds it to one of your projects, replacing whatever fills the same slot.

Using a whole collection also gives you a matching collection of your own, holding the copies, under your brand: the one you worked in last, or a new brand called My Brand if you don't have one yet.

Your public products

Once one of your products is public, it's read-only so it stays the same for everyone who uses it. To change it, make a copy and work on the copy.
